Felician University will grant transfer credit only for previous college work disclosed at the time of admission. Transfer credits are accepted on the following basis:
- Entire Associate in Arts and Sciences degrees earned elsewhere, assuming credits are compatible with Felician University curriculum.
- Up to 90 credits earned elsewhere, assuming credits are compatible with Felician University’s curriculum, to be applied toward a Bachelor’s degree. No credit for grades below a “C” will be awarded (except for transfer students already in possession of a degree). The transfer credit awarded for courses in which a student earned a grade below a C as part of an Associate’s degree program will be counted toward general education or elective requirements only. Nursing transfers must complete the pre-requisite coursework with no grade lower than a C+ and a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- No more than half of the credits required for the major/minor may be awarded (acceptance of transfer credits in major/minor is entirely at the discretion of the Department Chair).
- Evaluation by the Transfer Evaluator and approval of the School Dean and the Department Chair must be completed.
- The last 30 credits for any Bachelor or Associate degree program must be earned at Felician University.
