This course is an in-depth consideration of the origins and character of the Franciscan philosophical
legacy. Beginning with an examination of the influences of Augustine, Bonaventure, and Bacon upon the Franciscan
tradition, the course also includes a study of representative works by such thinkers as Olivi, Lully, Duns Scotus,
and Ockham.
