This course explores the role of contemporary criminal justice administration with an emphasis on
leadership and management perspectives and skills, as well as organization theory. The course will assist students
in more effectively assessing their own as well as line and staff management styles. In addition, they will be
better prepared to recommend positive change for more effective management of a criminal justice organization and
will take a series of self-evaluation management and leadership tests to assess their respective styles of
management. (as needed)
