Life Drawing is an intensive study of the anatomy and structure of the human figure as rendered in
pencil, charcoal and various other drawing media. While working from the live model, this course will explore
these topics, placing particular emphasis upon line, form, value, proportional accuracy, and spatial
relationships. Various art historical examples of figurative drawing will be reviewed. A visit to a New York art
museum may also be scheduled.
